“Mom, mom .” I whispered “Why am I in a hospital bed? What’s happened to me?”

“Well lets me tell you,” My mom replied

It was Friday the 16th of March Kayla (the girl in the hospital bed) was getting ready to visit her mom in Forks three and a half hours away. Unfortunately, they had to drive because her dad can’t afford to by a ticket for a: train, boat or plain.

One hour later Kayla and her farther were driving down junction twenty five when suddenly, the car stopped… CRASH!

“That’s why you are in a hospital bed.”

Was it a dream ?

The day was here. Finally the day had come, my first day of secondary school. I lay impatiently in my bed. Should I try to act normal? Or should I act like me? BEEP! BEEP! My alarm eventually went off.  I reached out for my blazer, which was hanging on my wardrobe handle; it had a navy background with a maroon coloured pocked with a logo saying Church of Scotland. “Lara, Lara!” my moms screamed at the top of her voice and trust me that’s loud! “What?” I replied                                                                                                                         “It’s ten past eight!”                                                                                                                                                                                        “AHHHHHHh!” I rushed to the bathroom. There was no toothpaste. I leaped to the cupboard and grabbed the toothpaste tube.

A few dilemmas later, I was finally dressed. My mom stormed up the stairs grasped my ears HARD, whilst towing me down the oak wooden staircase. Embarrassed , I stumbled out of my house , my little brother Hamish tugged on my legs. My hair was a messy as a matted dogs.

I was at school atlast I raced to my form, tripped over the door stop I embarrassed myself completely! Thinking I was going to die of embassasment I stumbled to my seat my teacher glasses slid down her wart infected crooked nose. Her eyes followed her glasses and narrowed down to glance at me. I felt scrutinised. “Detention!” she screeched in a monolog tone. I had a Detention on my first day , what was my mom going to think? Should I tell her ? What can I do ? All I could think about is her dis a pointed face gazing down at me.

Moments later the bell rang “see you after lunch” Mrs Hekford whispered, Was she being nice ? “ You better not be late” she ended her sentence sharply Didn’t think her consideration would last . Relived I strolled out the classroom wondering how I had survived without being weird but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t dreading going back into her dark pit Mrs hekford calls her classroom !Everyone I see her mineute devil horns enlarge out of her head.

A couple of days later, so I managed to last a couple of days, but worry no more it is finaly the weekend YES! YES! YES! Also if you’re wondering I do have a amazing best mate my so embarrassing mom is actually taking me and Effie skiing (by the way Effie is my best friend) She is coming over to sleep at my house tonight my mom has never let me have a sleepover, but she said it might help get more social skills in school. Knock Knock! I pulled the door and hauled the door, but it wouldn’t open. “Lara, Lara, the doors not open!” My mom bellowed as she unlocked the door. Of course something mortifying had to happen to me, the door flung off and I collapsed to the ground. The whole year group was standing outside my house “Whats everyone doing here ?” A ripple of laughter sawed across the front lawn The day was here. “What?” I replied                                                                                 “It’s ten past eight!”

One frosty night by Abbi D

It was one cold winter’s morning, the frost had covered the dull green caravans in the scrap yard opposite my house. Later on that evening my friend dared me to enter the abandoned circus which was situated down the road from my local shopping centre, way past my boundaries … I did. I moved the heavy sign that said no entry covering the circus. ! “ AHHHHHHH!” a woman shouted whilst  running out of the fun house I ran rapidly to see what was going on . I sprinted back home. Bewildered, scared, petrified – I didn’t know what to do!

Nonsence and Limerick poem By Abbi D

Nonsence:

I gambled into the twined forest,

To my amazement i found a mimsy old woman called dores ,

She scrambeled over to me ,

Whilst carrying a cup of tea,

I wonder how this mimsy woman found me ?

Limerick:

There was an old lady of Loch Ness,

Who turned out to be called aunt Bess,

She commited a crime,

Did the time,

Then returned back to Loch Ness
