Kingswood and Cosford!

Six playful and energetic weeks have passed but now it’s time for a real challenge;lets meet the teachers on an exiting adventure to kingswood.

On the way to the Cosford Museum it was amazing to think that back at school everyone was working their socks of to impress their new teachers.

When we got there we were all so excited after a long walk we were handed a clip board all of which had a work sheet to complete. The first task was to find the largest number you could that was in the museum.Mrs Cradock said that whoever wrote down the largest number they found could recive a prize.Soon after people had filled their sheets with numbers it was time to venture to a new room.In the hall we had yet another challenge. This time the challenge was to build a car out of plastic straws and connectors, but oh no that wasn’t the only thing, we also had to make a rocket. When it came to testing out how far our rocket went …. my team came last! 🙁 After we were finished we went to lunch.

Next, one thing that we did was go to another hall full of… you guessed it, planes and we had to indentify which type of planes they each were. It didn’t go well bit at least I knew which ones were the German planes!

Soon after everyone had found out which plane was which, we were led to the science room where we tested how the propellas work on a plane. Sadly after 15 minutes in the science room it was time to set off to Kingswood. When interview Mitchell said that his favourite planes were the German ones.

As soon as we got there everyone excitedly jumped off the coach and we met our instructors. When they finally finished the safety rules we got our suitcases and we got taken to our dorms and settled in. Once we had finished we had ages of time until we had to meet up for dinner so some of us decided to explore and some stayed in the dorms. Some of us, (not mentioning names … Elliot, Mitchell, Ben, Jayden) decided to play, yep, you guessed it … football!

The tea was actually very tasty and we enjoyed the food from Kingswood. We continued to have a great time all week as you can see from our photographs. Everyone loved the trip.
